Once again non artistic happenings are determining my printing and book making – thank goodness that the construction of the books is a series of small tasks once the idea, design and printing are done, so making things that I could make progress with.
I have been working in the house because there is work going on outside
This is an image of stone dust from the flags coating my studio glass doors!
I have made holes (the continuation of the fabric design beyond the cut edge see here for further explanation) and folded the pages.
I have completed the first stage of the book covers for three sets of books, end papers and pages coming next.
And I have received my badge for donating a book to Sandra Kroupa’s 50 year celebrations at the University of Washington USA. This is a wonderful reminder that there is a worldwide community of artists out there and we are all happy to share and interact. A thought to make one smile.
