I’m the sort of person who likes to know where I am going and indecision doesn’t lie comfortably with me. I have tided the studio and thrown away stuff and although this was a bit of displacement I have been thinking and I have made notes, which would be totally meaningless to anyone else!

I think that the new body of work will be around the theme of ‘The Collection’ – drawing together pieces of textiles and embroideries from the same period and exploring their interconnectivity.  Hopefully there will be more of this to come.

My desk at the minute!

It has been a busy, interesting and exciting fortnight – I, with my fellow book Artist Joan Newall, as PagePaperStitch had a stand at “Pages” Leeds International Book Art Fair, there were lots of visitors and we talked endlessly and had a great time. I brought home far fewer books than I took!  I have also had two books purchased by Universities in America for their Collections – it is always lovely to think of the books lying somewhere far away and being appreciated by people that you will never meet. Thank you all.

What will the next fortnight bring?
